someone take my credit card away?

so now this year, I'm going to see:
  • Nine Inch Nails (july)
  • Elbow (september)
  • Editors (october)
  • White Lies (november)
  • Placebo (december)
two in newcastle, three in manchester.

and then we are going to go bankrupt. at least i'll have the memories of my favourite bands to keep me company.....

i only wish i could afford to go and see Alice Cooper when he plays City Hall, too.....

and i kinda wish there was someone in august to make it every month for the last 6 months of the year! shoot me now....

Alice is over-rated, in all honesty. Go and see Slayer - they'll be touring before the end of the year I reckon :)

My brother is getting good at Guitar Hero. you can watch him in August and we can still charge you City Hall prices if you want that authentic experience...

Didn't even realise that Placebo were still going (I'm out of touch, obviously!).

Anyway, enjoy them all - I'm sure you'll have a great time. Go on, book some more...

Alice may or may not be overrated - but I can't take him seriously any more since he started advertising Norwich Union.

Not that I took him all that seriously anyway... would still love to see him though!

nik - thanks for your generous offer! but i'll pass thanks :)

trews, yes placebo are still going - they played here just next to my birthday after they released Meds, which was great - especially seeing as they played Infrared which has the line 'well i came up to wish you an unhappy birthday' - i'd rather have a happy one but at least they were thinking of me!

mosh - would i destroy all cred if i said who??????

Ask watching9987 - they're the band who's song you get at the end of Guitar Hero III when you out-play Beelzebub... They're also utterly awesome - seeing them in Belgium next week *bounces*. And perhaps in the UK as well if I can find out where the hell I'll be in December.

Oh, who cares about money? At least you'll have a nice time. Life's too short. What d'you want written on your headstone?

'She never did the things she yearned for but her bank manager was always quite fond of her. Even though he'd never met her.'

Nah. I like to think my my credit card has a target rather than a limit?

all very well, but i read an article once comparing if you saved up for things vs if you went into debt. the result was that you could spend a LOT more if you saved up first. ergo, i should get out of debt as quick as poss, save loads of £££ then blow it all really quick - yes?

i still think my logic is faulty somewhere but i don't wanna think about it.

Know what? I owe you for Eds tickets. This weekend I shall remedy that.

October can't get here soon enough and I'm *super* jealous of you seeing Elbow. I adore them so so much.

I nearly got to see White Lies for $15 at a tiny club in Ann Arbor but no one would go with me and... I'm a dork :/

Loria - no rush :) I'll give you a full report on Elbow and White Lies! :)
